How to Make Stovetop Hard-Boiled Eggs

August 20, 2015 By Teresa Leave a Comment

Knowing how to boil eggs is pretty easy. I’m talking about the kind that produce a yolk that is creamy and has texture, without being dry and chalky. Or worse, have that green rim around them.

And it’s as easy as 1-2-3.

Step one…place the (extra large) eggs in a pot, and cover with about an inch of water.

Step two…bring the eggs to a rolling boil. When they reach this point, turn off the stove and cover with a lid for EXACTLY 10 MINUTES.

Step three…the moment that timer goes off, put them immediately into an ice bath until the eggs are completely cool.

That’s it!
