Cranberry Sauce
Homemade cranberry sauce is the perfect compliment for any holiday dinner. Tangy and sweet, it goes perfectly with roasted turkey.
Servings: 1 cup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 12 oz package fresh cranberries
- 2 tsp orange zest (from one orange)
Combine sugar and water in a small sauce pan. Dissolve the sugar on the stove over low heat.
Add cranberries and cook until you start to hear them popping, about 10 minutes.
Add orange zest and salt.
Remove from heat and cool completely.
